What’s your biggest fear?
Being blind and therefore unable to scrape the slightest fat off of meat. This used to keep me up at night. For real.

Are you obsessive?
Yes, I am quite obsessive about the things that matter to me. I can easily hyperfocus and spend two hours formatting a document so that it’s just right, but I’m told there’s medication for that these days.

What makes you happy?
Leaving my Blackberry and laptop home, and driving to Maracas beach in the early morning. Sitting on the empty beach, the ocean before me and the blue canopy of a sky above me, disconnected from the world but connected to something far deeper, there’s no greater feeling than that.
